Folkore is not an RPG.  More like an action/adventure game with RPG elements.  IGN did give it a 9/10 but if you go to gamerankings and go to Folklore, you would know that it got really mixed reviews with scores going as low as a 4/10.

 

Yes. Yes it is. You even level up by absorbing Folks. With each lvl up, you get stronger, your defense and HP goes way up.

So it IS an action RPG while the combat is all action.

 

I wanted to open a topic about that, but, now than you say it, i want to ask to everyone... how do yo define a rpg game?? because there are rpgs like mass effec, ff, blue dragon, The world ends with you, than are diferents games, but they have in common the character level, hp, experience, costum characters... long story, but, what makes a rpg game be rpg?
