I paid more money for a 7200 rpm drive with less storage. If I had it to do over again I would probably go with a 5400 rpm drive. I don't really notice much of a differnce and I could use the additional space. I think the heat issue is overblown, I seldom hear my fan turn on.

As Staude mentioned earlier some of the screws are easy to strip so be patient and use the proper tools when you swap drives.
