Is Two Worlds and Gothic III any good after being patched?

Two Worlds is supposed to be great after a rough start.

I hear Gothic III is "arcade-y" compared to its predecessors, but I *really* disliked the controls in Gothic 1 & 2, so I don't personally have a problem with that. =)
