That is if our Xbox One lifetime sales through 71 months are perfectly spot on. Though, given NPD/Circana data it should be relatively close and we have lifetime US sales for the Xbox One. So could come down to shifting a little sales to later in its life.

Either way we will need to add to the Xbox Series in the US to get it closer to Mat's % drop. If he is rounding could be -28.4% down.

I'd say will need to add 50K-100K to Xbox Series in the US and shift some Xbox One sales in the US, but keep its lifetime in the US the same.

Regardless, 400k is just 5k undertracking for every single month out of the total 71 months, so negligible imo! Well done trunks!

Out of the 8.84m in Europe, what's the share of the uk in that? It makes me wonder why decline in the usa is steeper than  in europe, but one explanatiion can be how much excessively high sales of xboxone were in the usa compared to global figures.

Our lifetime UK estimates for Xbox Series is at 3.4M and PS5 is at 5.8M.

Historically, US is ~50% of worldwide sales for Xbox.

XS:

  • US - 18,191,738
  • WW - 35,453,533
  • 51.3% (US % of WW)

X1:

  • US - 29,973,832
  • WW - 57,957,918
  • 51.7% (US % of WW)

X360:

  • US - 42,730,923
  • WW - 85,733,192
  • 49.8% (US % of WW)

This is before I do the Xbox Series adjustments. So US % will be a little higher once that is done.
