How To Make a Digital Only Gaming Market Work For Consumers?

Nintendo has kinda been doing that with digital downloads of Switch 2 games.

A half-truth. Mario Kart World is $80 either way. Fire Emblem is 80 for the physical, Yoshi and OOT are 70 for the physical. I feel like they're not giving you a discount when you pay $10 less to get those games digitally. They're charging you what they view as the normal price and charging you a premium for the physical copy.

I would not put it past them to make at least one more Nintendo game 80 and charge 90 for the physical copy.

Thanks, you just killed whatever optimism I had left for the future of gaming.
