It's gonna land right in that no man's land zone where we'll argue forever whether Switch or PS2 sold more units, isn't it?

Oh, you bet!

It’ll be glorious to watch fanboys in an eternal conflict.

From both sides, get ready to laugh at their wild arguments—things like "You should consider Company A’s numbers to be fake," or "Company B represents the absolute best; it’s the winner, both in fact and by right, because... [insert delusion here]..."

Well, Nintendo always provides precise quarterly figures, rounded to the nearest 10k. Of course, you can doubt their numbers if you want to, but that would be a massive reach.

The other 'candidate', on the other hand, hasn't provided any quarterly or annual sales figures for their console since hitting 155.0 million. Instead, they lumped them together with the successor console, making it impossible to break them down accurately. Then, out of nowhere after years of silence, they claim to have sold over 160.0 million.

So, long story short: once the Switch officially hits the 160.1 million mark, the ball is in the other guy's court. As long as they don't respond, they are logically the loser.
