If only the story surrounding the game was significantly polished (or even just straight up overhauled entirely), I think MP4:Beyond really could have been something special. I love the gameplay loop, feels very much like traditional 3D Zelda in certain respects, but when you give me a game that is riddled characters and a story in the state that it is, that just makes it really hard for me to take seriously.
