Nintendo already have the Switch at 156.59M in its last quarterly report so over 157M should be hit in it's next quarterly report which will be shipped units until the end of September.
For some reason VGcharts still have a large gap between shipped verses sold for the Switch. It made sense to have a big gap when the switch was in its peak years. But now that the Switch 2 is out and the sales target is only 2M the gap should be a lot lower. Probably close to 0.5M give or take 0.2M. After all a lot of the warehousing nintendo would have used for the Switch will be the same warehousing now being used for the Switch 2.
