If you open your profile and look at the address there, you'll notice a number before your username. I bet you that's an ID that is something like 1 for the first user ever created and is then increased by one for every new user. Your ID is over 500,000 and you registered over three years ago, which would probably put the total number of users ever created at well over 500,000. Many of those users have probably been deleted for one reason or another, but for the total number of users ever created, I think that's a pretty good guess. Those ~130,000 accounts are probably the ones that still remain. It's a curiously large difference, but there's probably a good explanation (or several) for that. I wonder if the user list includes banned users as well - if not, that would probably explain a lot.

Ah, you are right! Just checked the “Newest Users” list, and sure enough, their profile URL number goes up in order. I wonder what 130k figure represents then? Perhaps users who haven’t been banned? That’s all I can figure.

Also, if you change the URL number to 1, you can find the first user ever created on VGChartz: @VGChartzAdmin.

I actually don't think that is accurate with that username being the first ever created account. Unless the join date of "June 22nd 2009" is wrong. VGChartz was created in 2006. Though, I don't know the exact date off the top of my head. @ioi is the creator of the site and his account was created on November 27th 2006.
