If you open your profile and look at the address there, you'll notice a number before your username. I bet you that's an ID that is something like 1 for the first user ever created and is then increased by one for every new user. Your ID is over 500,000 and you registered over three years ago, which would probably put the total number of users ever created at well over 500,000. Many of those users have probably been deleted for one reason or another, but for the total number of users ever created, I think that's a pretty good guess. Those ~130,000 accounts are probably the ones that still remain. It's a curiously large difference, but there's probably a good explanation (or several) for that. I wonder if the user list includes banned users as well - if not, that would probably explain a lot.
