That game super surprised me. Wasn't interested in it for the longest time because I was like oh Nintendo phoned it in on the WiiU game and just made a 2d-gameplay 3D Mario instead of a normal 3D Mario game. Would love to see the next 3D Mario (next year?) be Bowser's Fury style open world, but then another 3D Mario just a few years later that is 3D World 2. Get both extremes of Mario gameplay.

Also Eternal Darnkess 2, but bring back the first one too.

Obvi new Fzero and Star Fox games as well.

I know it was a direct sequel in an era of games with lower specs but man were we so lucky to get Galaxy and Galaxy 2 on Wii. Only about 2.5 years apart. Switch with its 8 years from launch to replacement got Odyssey and Bowser's Fury. So that's like 1.25 3D Mario games. More than 1 standalone game, but not 2.

I am so down for a big 3D Mario in 2027 and then another 3D World in 2029-2031. 

yeah very true about that quick turnaround with Galaxy and Galaxy 2, reminiscent of the OoT and MM turnaround or Prime 1/2/3 coming out 2 years and then 3 years apart. I miss those days when we could get AAA games of major IP getting released just 2-3 years apart. Odyssey and Bowser's Fury are both incredible but yeah the drought of 3D Mario is a bit ridiculous at this point, it still completely baffles me how they didn't have 3D Mario ready to go on for launch day on S2.

Totally agree with your desired time schedule in this hypothetical world in which we also get a sequel to 3D World.
