Probably some old Dynasty Warrior game, maybe DW5, if I had to pick one right now. People used to complain about the simplistic gameplay and bad voice acting, but I was never bothered by them, because there was always the tactical level I was much more interested in, and back then, I didn't pay much attention to voice acting anyway. I'm not sure voice acting is still too important to me, although I do pay more attention to it now.
I should really visit the old Dynasty Warriors game at some point to see if the tactical level actually still holds up. I know it certainly doesn't in newer titles, but I've been wondering if it's just nostalgia or if the tactical side really was better back then.
