Bullshit. It is entirely possible to give a shit about announcement without an actually gameplay trailer. Here are some ways

1. The Director

2. The Developer

3. Their past works.

The fact that you participate on this site is enough. How many threads have we had over the years about unannounced or leaked games that you participate in/have been excited for before you even seen the game?

I don't tend to get that excited about games in a tangible sense without knowing what they're going to actually be like. 

In this case for instance, I liked some of Vanillaware's games, but others I found boring, so I'll need to see more to decide which camp this looks likely to fall into.

Some characters walking from right to left for a minute isn't doing it for me, that's all.
