Layoffs are happening this week, numbering in the hundreds. Blizzard seeing some layoffs in this batch, reports are Halo Studios will be hit hard (not too surprising, Halo Campaign Evolved didn't exactly light the world on fire), rumor is Halo may move to Activision, it was recently reported that one of the Activision studios had been working on a Halo prototype, and NateTheHate said the good or bad of the Halo news will vary person to person, meaning some fans will love the news, others will hate it, while other sources are saying definitively that Halo is moving to another studio. Other studios hit by layoffs unconfirmed. There is also a report that Asha is looking to consolidate some studios (combine them into a single studio), though we're not sure yet which studios will be consolidated.
