I suspect there will be a few implications. A Majora's Mask remake, while by no means guaranteed, is definitely possible. They could even do it as a standalone expansion type deal similar to what Xenoblade does given it is a more compact game.
I think we're definitely seeing the foundations of the next Zelda's rendering and visuals laid. It might not be exactly the same, but I think it will take a lot of cues from this.
And then finally, I think we will see the next open world Zelda feature more and larger, more traditional dungeons. I could see them scaling shrines back to a smaller number, 40 or 50, and having several large dungeons. Tears began a move towards this direction, I expect the next to only continue it much more aggressively.
