PlayStation has made so many bad, cynical decisions as of late, but Xbox always missed the opportunity to profit from the bad decision. Mostly because Xbox was making its own bad, cynical decisions, but also didn't have enough desirable games to back them up. This is the first time in a long time where a bad PlayStation decision is paired with a good Xbox decision, which is sort of refreshing.
I've been monumentally disappointed in Xbox for a generation now, but I think my biggest disappointment is this: the division has done nothing to create a viable alternative to PlayStation, which has allowed Sony leadership to escape from one blunder after another. Maybe this is a small step in the right direction.
