Sony stepped away from Physint (Kojima Game), and now the game will be published by Xbox

I'm almost sure this is a strong sign it is shaping up internally to be another Death Stranding weird type of game instead of a MGS successor everyone hoped. After the last one flopped I don't know what else we could expect, really.
