VRR is a feature that shouldn't need per-game support so not sure why Nintendo are saying the software needs to support it. It should be system wide and have an effect whenever a game drops frames or is unlocked fps.

Though DF said at launch there seemed to be a problem with it not working on No Man Sky or Cyberpunk (handheld). Their testing at launch indicated that Low Framerate Compensation wasn't functioning on all games for some reason so when a game dropped below 40fps VRR just didn't work. Dunno if that was ever addressed in a system update.

If it doesn't just work universally now, that's something Nintendo should address, because that's how it's supposed to work. VRR does not need per-game support.
