I used to spend 1,200 on games, 1,200 on movies a year, then hardware on top. Now I spend more on books than on games+movies combined. Children of Time is better than either!

I started it while waiting for Exodus: The Helium Sea paperback to come out. Then immediately ordered the next 3 volumes and have volume 5 on my watch list. Just as good as Peter F Hamilton's world building!
