Ooh man I’m at a crossroads. I’m really feeling like I should avoid this… don’t want all the surprise spoiled! Plus I’ve got the convenient excuse of having class right as the showcase is going on. Hmm… I’ll think on it

I hear you. It would be amazing to be able to go into the next Zelda game completely blind.

But this is my perspective: if you're going to spend any time on VGChartz after the Direct, you're going to come face to face with details about the presentation, so you might as well get the satisfaction of seeing it unfold in real time. Also, Nintendo may open pre-orders for limited edition consoles/controllers/games during or right after the presentation.

Y’know, you say that, but I’ve actually been very successful in not having seen any more than a couple of screenshots of the Star Fox remake. Avoided all gameplay and music even after 5 months. Same can be said about every Switch 2 exclusive I haven’t beaten yet (Yoshi, Pokopia, MTFever, Tomodachi, etc). For as much as I patrol VGChartz, ResetEra, and even X, I somehow don’t get spoiled unless it’s something newsworthy.

With how well I’ve dodged all FFVII Revelations info (all I know is that it’s open world), I think it can be done for OoT.
