As a Tactics Advance and A2 fanatic, I always wanted to get my hands on the OG. Which I did once the Ivalice Chronicles released. But no matter how much I tried to enjoy it... I just couldn't. Getting into generic battles with no story behind them to level up and learn new abilities got very old very quickly to me. Also, coming from the portable entries, where you have so many jobs AND races made the world feel a bit bland. I appreciate the more mature and complex plot and characters, but that wasn't enough for me to keep going.
