Besides Zelda/BOTW, which Nintendo series had the best transition to HD?

I would say Mario Kart. I was blown away by the graphics compared to past MKs. MK wasn't a game that I felt pushed the system it was on graphically, but that changed with MK8. I would say that Smash is a close second, but felt that series had great graphics in Melee and Brawl as well.
