To what extent do console characteristics like name and appearance matter

To me the name doesn’t matter but I do like the look of a good looking system. I think Series S is probably the best current gen system for looks. PS5 on the other hand … looks like a clown system, too tall, too clam shaped, just an impractical looking system. Tho that being said, I slapped some box plates on my pro awhile back and it looks great .. think a black series s but 4x bigger.
