Just played the campaign demo/beta on Switch 2.

Unlike multiplayer which targets 60fps, the campaign appears to cap at 30fps on Switch 2, at least in the beta. It holds that line consistently in my playthrough.

Graphically it's not as good looking as the top shelf current gen Switch 2 ports like Indiana Jones or Star Wars Outlaws, with textures taking a noticeable hit, but it's still a cut above the kind of ports you'd get on Switch 1.

As for the game itself, I found it fun enough; it's pretty much more of the same of the prior Modern Warfare reboot series, so if you liked those games you should enjoy MW4 well enough.

Gyro aiming works very well once I got it set up the way I like it, with both this and mouse mode offering a decent amount of customisation.

Based on this, I'll be picking it up come October, though it would be cool if they can polish up graphically a bit over the next couple of months. After 13 years, it's nice to have the series back on Nintendo.
