Stop being a nintendo simp, nintendo badly wants digital only to, thats why they created GKC..once the servers are down and that happens a lot faster then with sony(keep in mind ps3 store is still up)

All those games have noo value att all, digital crap!

All companies are crap nowadays.

GKC technically doesn't need internet after the initial installation, in so much as you don't delete your download.

Also the Wii store is still available for existing purchases, just not new purchases. That likely would be the case for GKC users 20 years out, unless Nintendo goes bankrupt.

GKC is basically just a physical, off-line license system which uses the physical cart for DRM without having to be online, similar to how some discs worked near the end of physical PC gaming.

I'd suspect people still will buy GKC's 20 years from now because they'll have collector value and there probably would be "alternative" means of getting the game data.

Same thing with digital only/code if stays on your console if you dont delete it.

And noo, their is 0value in 20 years from now to "collect" a GKC that you cannot use anymore...0value.

GkC is a glorified digital download code that you can at least when servers are still  online "resell"  that stops when the servers stops.

Next step for ninty is to release their own games on a GKC and then they will anounce a digital only console..mark my words.
