I know it's cool to hate on it nowadays in retrospect, but damn I miss this whole era where gaming was bold, edgy, and gritty.

Killzone, Resistance, Motorstorm, Infamous, etc, they had a real bite to them that's largely lacking in games today.

Been revisiting a lot of games from this gen recently and I forgot how much I loved the 2000s.
