In my experience, what people tend to mean by this in regards to Switch 2 is that they're accustomed to getting certain tentpole franchises like 3D Mario, Smash Bros, mainline Zelda, etc in the first 1-2 years of a Nintendo console's life, whereas with Switch 2 the big guns are so far mostly absent outside of Mario Kart, with most of its lineup consisting of smaller stuff.

While I personally have had a really good time with games like DK Bananza and Splatoon Raiders, I think a lot of folks are getting antsy for the next big megaton blockbuster from Nintendo, the kind of thing that sells 10m+ and sells consoles.
