I say Nintendo has had the strongest line up of games most of the time, not so much on the Wii U, among that system's other problems.
Splatoon at least was able to get sequels and a spin-off, Super Mario 3D World, Pikmin 3, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Mario Kart 8, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, New Super Mario Bros. U, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild were all ported to the Switch and were better off there. Don't expect a port of Nintendoland to Switch or Switch 2 anytime soon.
