I had a 60GB fat PS3. I didn't really get interested in it until Valkyria Chronicles came out and it started getting RPGs.
It was a remarkable turnaround story. It got great games in its later lifecycle. 2013 was a great year for PS3, with Ni no Kuni, Tales of Xillia, and Dragon's Crown.
That said, mine yellow-lighted some years back and I never bothered to fix or replace it. Almost all of the games it had that i cared about are now on Switch, including VC and Ni no Kuni. So I bought the Switch versions of those games instead. And to be fair, I feel the same way about the 360. I don't feel a need to rebuy either.a PS3 or a 360 since I can play all the games I cared about on my current hardware.
