Also, it was a higher age rated movie than we usually see, so it prolly garnered more eyes that way too.
Nonetheless, this new indie horror scene with movies like Skinamaring, The Backrooms and Obsession is maybe the beginning of a new era for the horror genre in cinema !

I heard good things about Hokum too but as usual I’m woefully behind on movies 🙁
