What generation do you feel progressed the most from its beginning to its end?

-The graphics went from basic 2D to excellent use of 2D animation and even got some 3D games in there.
-The 4 face button with L/R controller layout
-The introduction to using CDs (Turbo Grafx 16 CD, Sega CD, 3DO)
-Arcade ports
