On the other hand, pretty much every platform holder and publisher is grateful and mega happy about Sony and Rockstar's moves. Some are just more secretive about it than others.
I still can't believe we're going digital-only so soon. Luckily, we have Nintendo with a larger physical playerbase to keep physical existing for some time. Though I have to wonder how long before most 3rd party publishers drop GKC and go digital-only on Switch 2 as well. Nintendo is likely pivoting to GKC and/or increasing the price gap between physical and digital to promote the latter, but Switch 2's small storage will be problematic (which is good news for physical fans).
