Trump was angry with Jeanine Pirro because she dropped charges on David Hearn over alleged reflecting pool vandalism, because she didn't have any actual evidence. They can say what they want in press conferences, but when you're talking to an actual judge, there are serious consequences for lying.
Now Trump is considering firing Pirro, saying that she "CHOKED" and that she "folded like an umbrella."
Just a reminder that last year, Pirro completely blew the case of the DC sandwich thrower by filing felony charges against him, which a grand jury rejected, apparently disproving the old adage "You can indict a ham sandwich," though given that a grand jury did agree to move forward with Hearn's case, that may have been the exception that proves the rule. The sandwich thrower's case was then prosecuted as a misdemeanor, which it should have been in the first place - he threw a sandwich, not a brick. By that point, the DC jury had had enough of Pirro's shenanigans and voted to acquit him of all charges.
Pirro's other antics included being clocked driving 119 mph in a 65 mph zone in upstate NY, which should have gotten her jail time. Instead, she was allowed to plead guilty to 95 mph in a 65 mph zone and was fined $393. I guess they didn't give her a field sobriety test.
