The one thing that the Wii might be doing is splitting the market.
There are the graphically-intensive games geared toward individuals seeking realistic-like experiences. These are often shooters, racers, and sports. This is what is found most often on the HD consoles
There are the games which take less graphics geared toward individuals seeking unique recreational experiences. These can be of any type and while they are often considered casual games, those are only a part of this market. This is what is found most often on the SD consoles.
