Played pretty much everything in the franchise minus 11 and 13-2/LR. FF5 and FF8 are definitely my top picks for underrated titles, mainly because 5's gameplay holds up better than most classics and 8 gets way too much unfair hate. Also gotta give massive props to FF14. Just caught up with the story and moved straight to high-end end-game stuff. Doing Zoraal Ja on Extreme mode proved how insane the encounter design is. Had to do actual homework, watching YouTube clears, reading Reddit threads and Skycoach guides, just to manage gear progression and positionals properly. The music, visuals, and boss mechanics are just top tier.
