Sony might actually run into another issue with going fully digital: most stores don't earn much on the console and were making their winnings on selling games for the consoles.

But if no games are being sold for a console, will stores really still be inclined to actually sell the console itself? Unless they can make a decent buck on accessories, controllers, store cards and the like, I could see several stores simply not stocking Sony's console anymore. And those that do will allocate just minimal shelf space for the PS6 compared to a Switch 2.
