If it has a 700$ handheld and a 900$ more powerful home version, I can see it having Xbox One numbers.

They may not roll back on their decision, but they will certainly regret it.

They definitely won't regret it. It doesn't matter how many people Switch to PC or boycott PlayStation. In the console space, what are people going to do? Move to Xbox? Xbox who have no interest in competing anymore and port nearly all their games over to PlayStation? Nope not going to happen. Switch 2? The Switch 2 that isn't capable of playing games at 60fps because it's CPU isn't capable of it. People think they can damage PlayStation like they damaged Xbox one back in 2013, but these are very different times. Sony knows they've got themselves into a position where they can't be beaten anymore. People are screaming and shouting without realising that nothing they can do can bring Sony down now. They reached the top of the console market and that's never going to change

Don Mattrick probably thought the same in 2013.

Same as Ken Kutaragi in 2006.

Same as Yamauchi in 1996.

History repeats itself.
