Can't believe people are genuinely worried about what video games they may or may not be able to play 20 years down the line. It's crazy, obsessive even. I'm sorry, but if you are legitimately concerned that a game you own right now won't be playable in 20 years, you are obsessed and need help.

I don't know where the hell I'll be in 20 years or what I'll be doing, but what GAMES I'll have available to me really isn't all that high on my list of concerns.

Couldn't disagree with you more. There's nothing wrong with the stance that you don't worry about this type of thing but why is it hard for you to understand that people want to know the products they bought with their hard earned cash will still be available in the future? I think even if I had your stance I would still understand collectors and why they want to keep using the stuff they bought.

Heck, 20 years is nothing. I own PS1 games produced 30 years ago that still work perfectly.

As for GKC, I don't own any and there's nothing that could convince me to get one. I either get a full cartridge or I purchase the game elsewhere.
