Tober is correct, and I have been saying this same thing since 2012 when everyone in my personal life was talking about an all digital future. As long as there is a demand, it will be supplied. There are no two ways about it. Just because Sony is making this decision, honestly it doesn't mean shit. They are one company (albeit a big one) and there are two other console manufacturers out there. Sony doesn't dictate when the generation starts, nor do they dictate the standard for distribution. Everyone acts like since Sony did this, physical games are dead. Sony isn't the industry. They barely even make games anymore. All they care about is trying to sign you up for services. They aren't even really interested in gaming anymore. 

Anyway, I believe physical media will always find a way. Too many people like it.
