Why can't we have AI without data centers? Why can't they be cooled by less harmful methods? Can't they use liquid nitrogen as a coolant?

I don't know. I haven't studied it much. But if so, yeah. That would be the obvious solution. But without regulators holding their feet to the fire, are they even going to search for such a solution? In my experience, most companies like this are straight up evil. Profits before people etc. I don't think they'll do anything until forced to.
