Yeah I don't think the suits anticipated the backlash being quite this strong; you'd think a major console player would be aware of how many people feel about this issue, but as has already been stated, plenty of moves over the years from all three console makers have demonstrated an astounding lack of touch with their audience.
At this point can we call this the biggest uproar in PS history, or is the 2005-2006 PS3 controversy still bigger?
