And the funny thing is, no matter how much corpo bootlickers on Reddit try to argue otherwise:

If I don’t own the thing I bought from you, you can’t really say with a straight face I’m “stealing” it if I download without paying like these “You Wouldn’t Steal A Car” commercials (and said bootlickers) try to argue. They can’t have their cake and eat it, too. You also can’t steal what you can’t own in the first place.

Oh, and in other news, Rockstar wants nothing to do with Sony after this. They won’t even let them run GTAVI advertising on their app.

But yeah, enjoy your (perpetual) $80 games being padded behind $100 ads-free versions if you want to play without ads (they already do this with movies and shows on streaming, so don’t act like it won’t happen) until they snag them from you. And goodbye licensed games, which means goodbye future console gens for me. It had to end at some point. I refuse to have my gaming library be left at the mercy of a company that fudges sales numbers to justify snagging ownership from me. That’s a gaming future I refuse to be apart of.
