I certainly didn't see this happening this fast. In my view the PS6 being digital only or not was basically a coin flip but not only does this confirm it will be digital only Playstation in general will be digital only after 2027. Xbox will naturally be following suit so that'll just leave Nintendo though I fully expect them to do this same move some time next decade. I knew that the 2030's would be the death of physical video games but man based on how the past year has gone that's gonna be on death's door by the end of this one. Anyone who still values ownership should go with PC going forward since that's digital only but the situation there is much better compared to a digital only console.
