That's not what the data shows. Instead, there's a near-constant decline for in physical media revenue and ownership and declining interest on it in younger age brackets.
It's like those articles a while ago about young men converting to catholicism while the reality is the opposite trend. The niche being presented as the norm due to wishful thinking.
I do like my physical PS5 disc collection, after owning no non-Nintendo console for over a decade, but I knew it was this last hurrah.
