The tech won't arrive in time. SpaceX wants to make it cheaper to place datacenters in space than to build one from scratch by the end of the decade, but factor in Musk's typical overpromising, plus heat-dissipation concerns that are yet to be addressed, and that's easily a ~2040 target.
Depending on your timeline, that makes it far more likely that the first AGI will be created in Earth's data centers instead.
