Such a sad time in gaming to see so many lay offs and studio closures. Unfortunately for these studios, they are being asked to spin off at one of the toughest times. I fear they are going to have a lot of trouble finding investor/ buyers. I kind of doubt any of the big publishers will be interested in taking on the risk and Sony is rumored to have lots of lay offs coming themselves. Feels like they might need to look to sources like the Saudi's for funding. Ninja theory likely has the best chance, imo.

Double Fine feels like a studio Nintendo could have interest, but they rarely buy studios. Double Fine being located in San Francisco also doesn't help, as that makes them a pricey studio.
