LETS GO NINTENDO! *clap*clap**clap-clap-clap*

i will be keeping a tally to see which company has the most representation as people's favorite console. it wont exactly count as a championship, but it will count for something.

What is with that championship of yours by the way ? I am curious. How do you qualify them ?

a championship is basically the winner of a generation.

nintendo won a championship with the nes and snes

sony won with the ps1 and ps2

nintendo then won with the wii

then things get tricky, and i made a thread about this where everybody got all uptight about their opinions and such, but i was curious to know whether the switch fits more with an 8th gen console or a 9th gen console because i want to know which sony system they beat (ps4 or ps5). ultimately, i concluded that we still need more time to kind of look back in history and see where it fits better in terms of classification, you could make an argument either way. i think timing of release and power are the two main ingredients, so we will have to see when like ps6 and the new xbox release and how things shake out. but as for now im considering the switch the winner of generation 8. if not then it wins generation 9. either way nintendo has 4 championships.

Total Championships: Nintendo - 4, Sony - 2, Atari - 1, Microsoft - 0, Sega - 0
