Ocarina is there to help making the wait better and it's probably (mostly) done by an external studio. Hell, I'd say there's even a chance we'll get another 2D game before the next mainline 3D as well.

Since OoT has a light puzzle dungeon. I wonder if this game will help them get used to Switch 2's RT capability and expand on that with something in the next mainline dungeon. Either as a mechanic/ability or another idea for a light puzzle dungeon.

I'd love for the to play with lighting in puzzles like you mentioned. But tbh, I don't really think a game of this (presumably) high fidelity will be able to support ray tracing at a stable framerate. 

Maybe I'm wrong, after all this is Nintendo's favorite child and they could expend a ton on development (and time) since profit is assured.
