I'm gonna be completely honest, I genuinely don't see how the 2026 lineup is supposed to be bad. We're getting first party releases almost every month
In comparison, the first 9 months of 2018 were two new games with 75 or below on Metacritic and DLCs for Splatoon 2 and Xenoblade 2. Smash saved the thing in the end but even after that, it took 3 months for Yoshi's Crafted World in March 2019 and then again 3 months for Mario Maker 2 in June 2019
