Even if this game had not been leaked, I think they needed to show some actual gameplay. So far the only true showcase for what Nintendo can do with the Switch 2 hardware that has even been announced is a rail shooter that is also a remake of an N64 game. With no Mario, Smash, Pikmin, Luigi's Mansion, or F-Zero, and only fleeting moments of the new Xenoblade's open environments, Ocarina should have been the game that made everyone stop and say, ' Wow. This looks amazing.' And they chose not to do that and to do nothing but tease their biggest game of the year despite the fact that it is 6 months from release, 7 at most. Instead they spent 5 minutes giving the most boring explanation of Rhythm Heaven and another 4 minutes wasting time on thumb wrestling.
